The Auburn was proud to represent Sri Lanka at the Mango Festival, bringing Ceylon Cinnamon and a taste of our heritage to an international stage.
The day
A taste of home, shared widely.
Under the Sri Lanka pavilion we poured cinnamon brews, offered Cinnamon Honey and Cinnamon Sugar to taste, and introduced visitors to the difference between Ceylon Cinnamon and the cassia most of them grew up with.
It was a day of flavours and traditions that connect communities across borders, and a reminder of why we started The Auburn.
Acknowledgement of Country
The Auburn respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work and gather, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung People of the Kulin Nation, and pays respect to their Elders past and present.
